Hi, I'm Josi — and I'm probably already thinking about what to make you for dinner.
Hey there, growing family! I'm Josi — a postpartum doula, Central Oregon local, and someone who genuinely loves showing up for new families when they need it most.
From the first kick to the first cuddle, I guide you with evidence-based tips, soothing techniques, and endless encouragement. You focus on the love— I’ll handle the support!
If you've landed on this page, you're probably somewhere in that tender, overwhelming stretch of new parenthood — maybe you're still pregnant and trying to plan ahead, or maybe you're a few weeks in and quietly wondering how anyone does this without more help.
First, I want to say: whatever you're feeling right now is completely valid. The postpartum season is one of the most significant transitions a person can go through, and it's one that our culture doesn't always give the time, space, or support it deserves.
That's exactly why I started Nourish & Nest Doula. Because I believe every new family — every single one — deserves to feel held during this season. Not just surviving it, but actually moving through it with nourishment, rest, and a little breathing room.
I've called Bend, Oregon home for most my life. Before becoming a postpartum doula, I have run my own business and helped others run theirs for the last 6 years. I naturally fall into a care taking role in any job position and business I’ve had. I was born to take care of others. After realizing this, that’s when I first opened my eyes to being a care taker.
I am a cycles, pregnancy, birth and postpartum nerd. I have had a passion for women’s wellness and holistic healing for years. I am following my calling to turn it into something that will help my community.
What I bring to every family I work with is pretty simple: a warm presence, capable hands, and zero judgment. I'm not here to tell you how to parent. I'm here to make sure you have a hot meal, a tidier home, and enough rest to actually enjoy this season — even the hard parts of it.

-
A big pot of bone broth chicken Tortilla soup — warming, nourishing, and practically makes itself. One of my best friends and I make this every time we are sick, feeling down, in deep in the luteal phase of our cycle.
-
Good coffee and a calm presence
